Stuart Hardy Construction will move its offices to 600 Broad Street, downtown Oriental, NC.

Construction will begin on a “Crew’s Quarters” cottage, part of the Coastal Living compound at River Dunes.

Construction on the Harbor Club at River Dunes has begun.

Carter Sitterson appointed Field Assistant.

Completion of Harbor Place, a 27-unit condominium community at Oriental Harbor Village Center & Marina.

Founding member of a partnership to develop high quality residential projects within the old village of Oriental.

Cindy Shockley appointed Operations Manager.

Selected The Red Rickshaw, and owner Scott Williams as exclusive interior design consultants for Stuart Hardy Construction.

December 2005
Named Small Business of the Year by the Pamlico County Chamber of Commerce. During the awards ceremony, Chamber president Bill Schmidt talked about Barbara and Stuart Hardy's work for Pamlico Habitat for Humanity and their contribution to the Toys for Pamlico Kids fund.

Construction begins on the new Stuart Hardy office building located at 600 Broad Street in the old village of Oriental.

Fall 2005
Named one of four Master Builders for River Dunes in Oriental, NC. Construction is scheduled to begin at the 600-home waterfront community in the spring of 2006. Stuart Hardy Construction also renovated the historic home that is the site of the River Dunes sales office in the old village of Oriental.
